JACKSON, Miss. (WLOX) – On Wednesday, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Derick Hall was commended by the Mississippi House of Representatives in House Concurrent Resolution 49.
Hall, a former student-athlete at Gulfport High School before attending Auburn, has defied all long odds despite being given a 1 percent chance to live when he was born four months premature.
Nearly 25 years later, Hall competed in Super Bowl LX as the Seahawks clashed with the New England Patriots. Seattle won 29-13. Hall logged two sacks.
