The Los Angeles Rams are in a win-now era that will eventually need to turn into a future-building one. Matthew Stafford is 38 but decided to run it back for another year with L.A., while the Rams have several high-profile stars entering pivotal contract years.
Fortunately, the Rams have a lot of picks to work with in the 2026 NFL draft. Even after they moved the No. 29 pick in a package for Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie, the Rams have three picks in the first 93 selections, including No. 13 overall.
L.A. could add key players on either side of the ball with their first three picks, but The Draft Network’s Jaime Eisner decided to go all offense with all three of the Rams’ top selections in his newest post-free agency mock draft.
Round 1 (No. 13): Makai Lemon, WR, USCRound 2 (No. 61): Chase Bisontis, IOL, Texas A&MRound 3 (No. 93): Garrett Nussmeier, QB, LSURound 6 (No. 207): Landon Robinson, IDL, NavyRound 7 (No. 232): Enrique Cruz Jr., OT, KansasRound 7 (No. 251): Andre Fuller, CB, ToledoRound 7 (No. 252): Ethan Onianwa, IOL, Ohio State
Lemon has been mocked often to the Rams, given his skillset and how he would fit into the offense alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. More importantly, though, is that Lemon would develop into the WR2 behind Nacua once Adams eventually leaves (either in retirement or otherwise).

Bisontis isn’t a starting-caliber player yet, but the Rams wouldn’t need him to be in 2026. He would serve as a solid depth piece who could also eventually take over at guard on the offensive line if the Rams want to move on from Steve Avila or Kevin Dotson.
Then there’s Nussmeier, whom the Rams are reportedly meeting ahead of the draft. L.A. will eventually need to figure out its succession plan for Stafford, and drafting Nussmeier now gives them a look at a potential replacement before Stafford is gone. The LSU product looked like a top prospect at times during his collegiate career after he finished the 2024 season with 4,052 passing yards, but he faltered in 2025 due to poor play and injuries.
The rest of the picks are all reserve-caliber players. Robinson gives the Rams more depth on the interior, especially with Ty Hamilton not looking too great in his rookie season. Cruz, Fuller and Onianwa are all dart throws in the seventh round, although Fuller has been called a “hidden gem” in the later rounds.
This class isn’t terribly exciting apart from the Lemon and Nussmeier picks, but the Rams don’t need to be exciting in the 2026 draft. They just need to find contributors who can help them win a Super Bowl this year and potentially in the years to come.
