Arvell Reese has gotten acquainted with the New York Giants this offseason.
Reese has become nearly synonymous with being a top-five pick in the 2026 NFL draft following his standout performance at this year’s NFL Combine. His 4.46-second 40-yard dash, along with strong showings in other on-field drills, boosted his stock considerably.

The Ohio State linebacker currently jockeys for positioning inside the top 10 of pre-draft projections, with four weeks remaining until the draft begins on April 23.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that the Giants have met extensively with Reese this offseason (top-30 visit), including another face-to-face at Ohio State’s recent Pro Day.
Reese envisions himself as an edge rusher at the NFL level, despite playing multiple positions in Ohio State’s defense last season, including off-the-ball linebacker and defensive end.
The Giants have no clear need for an edge rusher in their current roster construction, but would like to add another off-ball linebacker.
