We’ve long known that the New York Jets would enter the 2026 NFL draft with one of the most valuable collections of picks in the league.
But do they have the most valuable haul of selections?
Now that the dust has (mostly) settled on the NFL draft order, complete with compensatory pick announcements, and early-league-year trades, we have an answer to that question.
According to Tankathon, seen below are the top 10 NFL teams based on the cumulative value of their current 2026 draft selections. The valuations are based on a chart set by The Harvard Sports Analysis Collective.
New York Jets (1,291.3 points)
Miami Dolphins (1,275.4 points)
Las Vegas Raiders (1,208.6 points)
Cleveland Browns (1,202.3 points)
Kansas City Chiefs (1,092.8 points)
Pittsburgh Steelers (1,030.2 points)
Tennessee Titans (1,025.9 points)
Arizona Cardinals (944.3 points)
Baltimore Ravens (921.6 points)
Dallas Cowboys (908.0 points)
Yes, the Jets have the strongest collection of picks in the 2026 NFL draft.
It isn’t by a huge margin, though. The Miami Dolphins’ recent acquisition of the Denver Broncos’ first-round pick (30th overall), courtesy of the Jalen Waddle trade, has left the Fins breathing down the Jets’ necks in regard to cumulative draft value.
The Jets certainly have the most top-heavy collection of picks in the NFL. They own a league-high total of four top-45 picks to Miami’s three, a total matched by Kansas City and Cleveland. New York is also the only NFL team with two top-16 picks, with the Jets peaking at No. 2, while the Dolphins are not scheduled to be on the clock until No. 11.
However, what allows Miami to close the gap on New York is that the Dolphins have a whopping total of four third-round picks, whereas the Jets have zero selections in that round. The Jets have no picks from Nos. 45 to 102, a range during which the Dolphins will pick four times.
Overall, though, the Jets are armed with the best collection of draft assets in the NFL. Despite their lack of selections in the middle of the draft, it cannot be understated how important it is for the organization to have those four top-45 picks.
The Jets are desperate for star power after dumping Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams amidst a 3-14 season. Those picks can help them find some new faces of the franchise.
In the meantime, the Jets filled out the exoskeleton of their depth chart with a plethora of veteran free additions, which should help them withstand the 59-spot gap between their fourth and fifth draft picks. They will focus on using their top-heavy draft class to build the long-term nucleus of their roster.
