The Tennessee Titans have had a busy offseason.
First, it began with hiring Robert Saleh as the new head coach and then bringing in former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator.

The Titans then spent big in free agency, which was expected, with some notable moves including signing defensive tackle John Franklin-Myers and former Giants wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.
The Titans also have the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, meaning they have their chance to land a premier playmaker to add to the roster.
Lately, hype has been growing regarding Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love potentially being the choice there. While running backs going in the top-five is a very rare occurrence in recent years, ESPN experts Field Yates and Matt Miller say they could see that happening this time with Love going at No. 4 overall.
” They absolutely could,” Yates wrote. “…Many NFL executives and scouts believe he is Tennessee’s most likely pick.”

“Yes, they could and should take Love at No. 4,” Miller wrote. “The Titans were aggressive enough in free agency to enter the draft without a must-pick position here. Love is the type of transcendent prospect who the Titans can build their offense around, giving quarterback Cam Ward a viable threat in the run and pass game.” And from what I’ve heard, if Love falls past Tennessee, the Giants will likely take him at No. 5.”
Miller even added that he has heard Love could go to the Giants at No. 5 if the Titans don’t take him, so the Irish RB going in the top-five has some serious legs.
Could Robert Saleh Address the Defense?

Everybody knows that Saleh, the Titans’ new coach, is a defensive mastermind.

And, with some big names potentially on the board at No. 4, maybe Saleh prefers to add a defensive star to that side of the ball.
“Love is my No. 1 prospect in this class, but I just don’t see it happening. General manager Mike Borgonzi joined Tennessee after 16 seasons in Kansas City, where the Chiefs always valued premium positions early. Don’t be surprised to see another defensive player added here for new coach Robert Saleh,” ESPN’s Jordan Reid wrote.
Yates’ recent mock draft had Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles going at No. 4, and Styles is the type of star player Saleh would love to add to his defense.
As time goes on, maybe Love does go in the first five picks, and an offense with Love and Cam Ward would be a good pairing in Tennessee.
