With Baltimore in Phase 3 of the off-season workouts program and kicking off Day 1 of OTAs, fans got their first highlights of DeAndre Hopkins in Ravens Purple
The Ravens have significantly added to last year’s top-ranked offense by signing wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
It’s a one-year deal worth up to $6 million, and it gives Baltimore a viable option at the third wide receiver spot behind Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. The Ravens kicked off Day 1 of OTAs at the Under Armour Performance Center on Tuesday, giving fans and media members their first look at Hopkins in Purple.
After providing the first look, the Ravens released this video clip of Hopkins doing what he does best, catching passes.
With opposing defenses likely to lock in on Derrick Henry even more in 2025, Hopkins provides the Ravens with an elite pass catcher who’ll produce in the most challenging moments. Hopkins has been one of his generation’s most productive wide receivers, going to five Pro Bowls and being named first-team All-Pro three times. Since entering the league in 2013, his 984 receptions lead all wide receivers, and his 12,965 receiving yards tops all players.
Of the 70 wide receivers who’ve had 500 targets since 2013, Hopkins has the fifth-lowest drop rate at 1.6%. Last season, the Ravens’ wide receivers ranked 30th in the NFL with a 5.1% drop rate.
