The Denver Broncos have secured home-field advantage throughout the NFL playoffs.

The Broncos improved to 14-3 and secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs following their 19-3 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Denver will now have the week off as other clubs in the conference face off in the wild-card round from Jan. 10-12.

The Broncos will host the AFC’s lowest-advancing seed in the divisional round at Empower Field at Mile High on either Saturday, Jan. 17, or Sunday, Jan. 18 (the NFL has yet to finalize the schedule).

Potential candidates to travel to Denver include the Los Angeles Chargers (No. 7), Buffalo Bills (No. 6), Houston Texans (No. 5) and Pittsburgh Steelers (No. 4). The Broncos would not face the New England Patriots (No. 2) or Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 3) before a potential AFC Championship game.

NFL Playoffs Schedule (AFC Wild Card, MT)

Sunday at 11:00 a.m.: Bills (No. 6) at Jaguars (No. 3)

Sunday at 6:00 p.m.: Chargers (No. 7) at Patriots (No. 2)

Monday at 6:00 p.m.: Steelers (No. 4) at Texans (No. 5)

If Denver advances to the AFC title game, the Broncos will host that conference title game on Sunday, Jan. 25. If Denver advances all the way to Super Bowl LX (Feb. 8), the Broncos will play at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, the same stadium where they won Super Bowl 50 following the 2015 season.
