PHOENIX — The Broncos have reached the pause in the offseason calendar.

With the first waves of free agency complete and the NFL Draft still three-and-a-half weeks in the future, Broncos officials and those of the other 31 teams gather for the league’s annual meeting, always held in some palatial resort with plenty of palm trees and a golf course adjacent to the premises.

It’s an annual tradition — and it also comes with a chance to hear from Broncos top brass from ownership through the head coach. This year is no different, as over the first part of the week, owner Greg Penner, general manager George Paton, president Damani Leech and coach Sean Payton will meet with local media.
