As free agency winds down, the Atlanta Falcons have shifted their focus to the 2026 NFL Draft. According to a report from NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo, the Falcons are one of several teams set to visit with Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis before the draft.

Bisontis held his pro day on Wednesday and impressed the many scouts in attendance. The Aggies standout is a projected late-first, early second-round draft pick. While Atlanta has no first-round pick in 2026, Bisontis could be an option for the team in Round 2.

Pro Football Focus has Bisontis listed as the 48th overall prospect on its 2026 big board, and the Falcons currently hold the 48th overall pick.

“Texas A&M G Chase Bisontis’ arms measured 32” at his pro day yesterday, helping ease concerns about a lack of ideal length,” wrote Garafolo. “Bisontis, a projected late-first/early-second rounder, has over a dozen visits with teams, including the Panthers, Chargers and Falcons.”

While the talent is clearly there, Bisontis plays guard and that isn’t a need for the Falcons at the moment. Left guard Matthew Bergeron has been solid and right guard Chris Lindstrom is arguably the best run-blocking guard in the NFL.

However, the Texas A&M product began his career at right tackle, so perhaps the team would consider kicking Bisontis back outside.

The 2026 NFL Draft kicks off next month on April 23. The Falcons currently have five total picks, starting with pick No. 48 overall in Round 2.
