Patrick Mahomes has already cemented his place among the NFL’s elite. Since taking over as the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, Mahomes has compiled an extensive résumé that includes three Super Bowl championships, three Super Bowl MVPs, and two NFL MVP awards, while leading Kansas City to seven AFC Championship appearances.

However, his 2025 campaign was cut short after he suffered ACL and LCL injuries in mid-December, and he is now focused on returning to full health ahead of the 2026 season.

Throughout his NFL journey, Mahomes has consistently leaned on the support of his wife, Brittany Mahomes. The couple met in high school in Texas and have grown together into one of the most recognizable power couples in sports.

On Saturday, Brittany reached a significant milestone of her own. She was inducted into the University of Texas at Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame, with Mahomes in attendance to support her.

Brittany later shared moments from the ceremony on her Instagram, where fans and family flooded her comments with congratulatory messages.

“Proud of @brittanylyne,” wrote UT Tyler Women’s Soccer Team.

“Congrats Brittany!!” Patrick’s brother Jackson posted.

“How honorable to be inducted into this university’s athletic legacy of fame! Congratulations 👏🫶🏆😌,” a fan posted.

“What an honor!! Can’t wait to see little Sterling kicking that soccer ball like her Momma!!!❤️❤️,” another fan added.

“So amazing! Congratulations Brittany 👏🏼🥳💕,” a third fan reacted.

“YES, that’s what WE talking ‘bout!!! CONGRATULATIONS, to a beautiful woman, wife, and a MOTHER!” another fan said.

Before becoming a public figure alongside Mahomes, Brittany, formerly Brittany Matthews, built one of the most accomplished careers in University of Texas at Tyler women’s soccer history from 2013 to 2016. She finished her career second all-time in total points (78) and goals (31), ranked third in assists (16) and game-winning goals (10), and was tied for third in games played (74).

Her 2016 season stands out as arguably the best in program history. That year, she scored 18 goals, and seven game-winning goals, all single-season program records. She also delivered four separate three-goal (hat trick) performances, tying the school record for most goals in a single match.
