Former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek is back in the headlines, but this time it has nothing to do with football. More than a decade after becoming one of the franchise’s most reliable players, Celek’s former wife, Susie Celek, has gone public with a new relationship involving another former Eagle: longtime defensive tackle Hollis Thomas.

According to The New York Post, Susie made the relationship public in an Instagram post featuring the couple on dates, sharing a kiss, and spending time around Philadelphia.

“Life trends show I’m not big on commitment, but I’m stuck on you big man,” she wrote, referencing Lionel Richie’s classic love song, “Stuck on You.”

While both players have Eagles history, they never overlapped in Philadelphia. Thomas spent nine seasons with the Eagles from 1996 through 2005, becoming one of the more recognizable personalities on the team’s defense. Celek arrived two years later after being selected in the fifth round of the 2007 NFL Draft and went on to spend his entire 11-year career with the organization. He retired after helping the Eagles win Super Bowl LII during the 2017 season.

Brent and Susie divorced around 2015, near the end of Celek’s playing career. The former couple had kept much of their personal life private, even during Celek’s years in Philadelphia.

Susie has since built a career outside the NFL spotlight, working in fitness and wellness as a yoga and Pilates instructor. She previously co-owned a Philadelphia-area spray tanning business and attended the University of Cincinnati, where she reportedly met Celek.

Celek remains one of the most popular players from the Andy Reid and Doug Pederson eras, finishing his career with 398 catches, 4,998 receiving yards, and 31 touchdowns.

Thomas, meanwhile, remained a familiar voice in Philadelphia after retiring, spending time on local sports radio and staying involved in the city’s football scene.
