The Baltimore Ravens aren’t concerned about any negative impact on their reputation within the NFL after backing out of their trade agreement with the Las Vegas Raiders for Maxx Crosby.
Speaking to reporters from the league meetings on Monday, Ravens president Sashi Brown was asked about any potential fallout from the Crosby trade affecting their standing.
“People understand who we are and what we are about,” Brown said.
As for the process that led to the Ravens opting not to finalize the agreed-upon deal, Brown explained there were no issues in that regard because it worked as it was supposed to.
“I think this is how it should be handled,” he said. “We’re disappointed that it didn’t go through.”
