Former Dallas Cowboys player Trysten Hill was arrested Thursday afternoon on charges of assaulting a pregnant person and interfering with an emergency request for assistance, according to Ellis County jail records.

Hill was booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center in Waxahachie about 2:30 p.m. with a bail amount set at $3,500. It was not clear if he has retained a lawyer.

The Ellis County sheriff’s office said Hill was arrested in connection with two bond forfeiture warrants stemming from a 2025 criminal investigation.

Hill played for the Cowboys from 2019 to 2022 as a defensive tackle. He later played with the Arizona Cardinals and New England Patriots but has not been signed by an NFL team since 2024.
