On Monday morning, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay joined Kay Adams, host of the “Up & Adams” show on FanDuel TV. McVay and Adams spoke at the NFL Annual Meeting in Phoenix.

The Rams recently acquired All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Chiefs in exchange for a package of NFL Draft (2026 NFL Draft Preview) picks, including Los Angeles’ 2026 first-round pick at No. 29 overall.

“I think you’re going to see him in a lot of different spots,” McVay said, “where you can move him around and you can take advantage of. He’s a guy that can play a lot of locations. (Fellow Rams cornerback) Quentin Lake can do that.”

Last year, Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo deployed McDuffie outside nearly 70% of the time, and he lined up in the slot nearly 20% of the time.

“I think what I respect about what Spags did is he moved him based on where they needed him the most,” McVay said. “It was exciting, and we’re glad that we got him.”
