Jason Kelce weighed in on Eagles’ cornerback Cooper DeJean’s rumored romance with a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader
Kelce joked, “He’s pulling a Trojan Horse” in a post on X after a photo of DeJean with Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers circulated
DeJean was previously linked to college student Steph Wilfawn, until rumors of a romance with WWE star Nikki Garcia began last fall
Jason Kelce had a hilarious response to Eagles’ Cooper DeJean‘s date night with a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
DeJean, 23, was spotted with cheerleader Abby Summers at the men’s Elite 8 matchup between the Iowa Hawkeyes and Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday, March 28. After photos of the star Eagles cornerback and Summers, 23, circulated on social media, Kelce, 38, weighed in on DeJean’s possible romance with a rival team’s dancer.
“He’s pulling a Trojan Horse,” Kelce wrote in a post on X.
DeJean attended the game in support of his former team, the Hawkeyes, on Saturday, but Iowa was eliminated from the March Madness tournament with a 71-59 loss to Illinois. Fans quickly spotted the Eagles player and were able to identify Summers as well.
Some fans, however, said they weren’t so sure DeJean, who was recently rumored to be dating 42-year-old WWE star Nikki Garcia, was on a date with Summers, or if the pair were just attending together as friends.
“So if two people seat together in an event, meaning they’re dating? How do you guys define this dating thing? Did they announce it?,” one fan wrote in response to Kelce’s post.

DeJean and Summers follow each other on Instagram and the Eagles star liked her most recent post on March 30.
Prior to rumors that DeJean was dating Summers or Garcia, he was linked to college student Steph Wilfawn, who proudly celebrated his selection in the NFL Draft on her Instagram Stories in April 2024.
Neither DeJean nor Garcia ever confirmed their alleged romance, but the WWE star fueled rumors further when she gave DeJean a shout-out at a WWE event on Feb. 2. “Can you blame a girl for having good taste? I mean, Pro Bowl, baby,” Nikki coyly replied after fans began chanting DeJean’s name, as seen in a video that went viral on X.
DeJean seemed surprised by the moment when he spoke about it with PEOPLE in San Francisco two days later.
“It was crazy to kind of see that,” he admitted while blushing through a grin. “I don’t know. i didn’t really expect that. Obviously it was in Philly, so…”
DeJean added that he “definitely did not expect to see that and go on Twitter and see that the next day.”
