The Atlanta Falcons are just two days from unveiling their new uniforms for the 2026 NFL season. Fans have spent the last few years begging the team for a uniform change and will finally get their wish when Atlanta drops its revamped design on April 2.

On Monday, Falcons president of football Matt Ryan was asked about the uniform reveal during an interview with NFL analyst Kay Adams. Ryan said he wasn’t involved in the process, but that he approves of the team’s new look.

“It’s like a two-year process to get these uniforms,” said Ryan. “First you’ve got to get it approved. You’ve got to say you’re going to make a change, then there’s an approval process and all this stuff. So this was going on long before I got there. I will say this: I approve.”

Adams attempted to press Ryan to give up some of the details, but he would neither confirm nor deny any of the rumored designs that have been floating around on social media.

“We’ll will see,” Ryan responded when asked if the team was bringing back its fan-favorite red throwback helmets.

Adams tried another method, asking Ryan if he could describe the uniforms with a few different adjectives. However, the former league MVP kept it simple.

“I approve,” said Ryan. “I like them.”

While Ryan clearly had no interest in spoiling the release, the Falcons will officially unveil their new uniform design on Thursday, April 2.
