On her latest Making Monsters podcast, Taylor Doll kicks off her annual NFL Draft series with Zac Blackerby, who covers the Auburn Tigers for the Locked on Network. They discuss a few Auburn prospects who fit the Chicago Bears’ needs, and they start off with EDGE Keldric Faulk.

“I think he’s a strong side end. I don’t know if I would feel extremely comfortable standing him up and kind of being that main, whether you call it a buck or a jack, whatever it might be, [he’s] that true edge can help you in run defense for sure,” Blackerby said about Faulk.

“He needs to take a few more steps I think as a pass rusher. His production from a pass-rushing standpoint at Auburn wasn’t as significant as I thought it would be last season, but the impact is there. I mean, you’re seeing the opposing offenses dedicate several guys to him, chipping him with a tight end, chipping him with a running back before they go out. So, [Faulk] obviously had an impact on the game.”

The knock on Faulk has been a lack of production with just 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks in 2025 after compiling 11 and 7 the year before, but Blackerby said he’s “extremely young (20) and just a guy that you would want in your program.”

They also discuss center Connor Lew, EDGE Keyron Crawford, and defensive tackle Bobby Jamison-Travis.
