CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, along with his parents Jimmy and Robin Burrow, have exited from their ownership stake in Major League Volleyball.
The Burrows joined Pro Volleyball Federation as founding partners of the indoor league in 2023. In addition, they held an ownership stake in the Columbus Fury, which launched with a roster featuring Olympians, national champions, NCAA All-Americans, international stars and more. The Fury started play in January 2024.
In August 2025, Pro Volleyball Federation and Major League Volleyball announced plans for a single, united league branded as MLV. According to a news release from MLV, the move brought in new team owners, league governance, ownership standards and a renewed approach for off-court player opportunities and fan engagement.
