“The Jaguars couldn’t ask for a better scenario than Orlando and Camping World Stadium as our temporary home in 2027,” Jaguars owner Shad Khan said in a statement. “We’re especially appreciative of the support of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the process. We’re also grateful to the team at Florida Citrus Sports that made this solution a reality that will benefit all, including Jaguars fans just a few hours away in Jacksonville. This is a win that everyone can celebrate.”

Camping World Stadium first opened in 1936 and can seat more than 65,000 people when expanded. It’s currently the site of multiple college football bowl games, including the Pop-Tarts Bowl, Cure Bowl and Citrus Bowl. It previously served as the home stadium for Orlando-based professional football teams since the 1970s, including the WFL’s Florida Blazers, the USFL’s Orlando Renegades and the XFL’s Orlando Guardians.

Florida Citrus Sports, the not-for-profit group that runs the Citrus and Pop-Tarts Bowls, organized the 2027 lease with the Jaguars’ ownership and the NFL.
