The NFL is unveiling its ‘Rivalries’ jerseys in 2025, and the Indianapolis Colts will take part in the league-wide rollout during the 2026 season.

According to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, the “Rivalries” program, as the NFL is calling it, will be similar to what we’ve seen in the NBA and MLB in recent seasons with the city connect jerseys.

“We decided to team up with Nike to allow fans and players to connect like never before with the Rivalries program because nothing brings communities together quite like a good rivalry,” Renie Anderson, the NFL’s EVP and chief revenue officer, told CBS Sports.

During each of the next four seasons, two divisions each year will unveil their respective uniforms. For the 2025 season, there will be eight teams in the AFC East and the NFC West divisions.

In 2026, it will be the AFC South, with the Indianapolis Colts, and the NFC North as well. The remaining divisions will follow in 2027 and 2028.

Within this program, teams will have to wear their ‘Rivalries’ jerseys for one home game each season against a division rival. Each team can choose which game they want it to be. The program will last for three seasons, presumably so the uniforms can be worn against each divisional opponent.

Alternate uniforms and throwbacks can still be worn during those seasons as well.
