Roman Wilson won’t let his disappointing rookie season define him — as he recently explained what’s changed in one year’s time.

To say Wilson was used sparingly in 2024 would be an overstatement, as the wideout didn’t catch a single pass on offense — despite the Steelers badly needing receiver production. It wasn’t a lack of skill, however, as Wilson struggled to stay healthy his rookie year — an aspect of his game he expects to be much different in 2025.

At Steelers OTAs, Wilson spoke with reporters about what’s different for him in Year 2 — courtesy of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

“I just feel like I’ve taken care of my body from an elite level. I’ve been more locked in. I feel like myself and I’m ready to come out here and practice hard.”

Hearing that Wilson feels confident he can make a big leap in Year 2 thanks to his newfound conditioning is music to everyone’s ears — but one huge question remains: who will be throwing him the ball this upcoming season?
