Kyle Dugger is one-and-done with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dugger, who was acquired from the New England Patriots in 2025, will play for a third team in two seasons after signing with the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Dugger, 30, finished with 42 total tackles, five pass breakups, and two interceptions across his stints in New England and Pittsburgh — the latter of which gave up a late-round pick swap in order to obtain his services after starting strong safety DeShon Elliott went on season-ending injured reserve in October.
The Steelers moved on after just one season as the veteran played nearly every defensive snap in his first eight games with the club before seeing those numbers decrease dramatically in the regular season finale and in the playoffs, with with fellow veteran Chuck Clark earning more playing time in those matchups against the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.
The Bengals will welcome the help as they recently saw safety Geno Stone sign with the Buffalo Bills.
