The Kansas City Chiefs are building up their secondary after losing several key players during free agency.The Chiefs have agreed to terms with former first-round cornerback Kaiir Elam. Elam was drafted in 2022 by the Buffalo Bills. He spent three seasons in Buffalo before signing with the Dallas Cowboys. He played 10 games with the Cowboys at the beginning of the 2025 season before he signed with the Tennessee Titans. He’ll now join the Chiefs, who need to strengthen their secondary after trading star cornerback Trent McDuffie to the Los Angeles Rams and losing cornerbacks Jaylen Watson and Joshua Williams to the Rams and Tennessee Titans, respectively. The Chiefs also signed cornerback Kader Kohou from the Miami Dolphins last month.
