High priority
Smoot: Receiver. There’s gonna be some veterans that are gonna get released [post-draft]. Some of them are gonna be cap casualties. Some of them, because their position just got drafted, the room is too much, and they’re gonna let these guys go. So, there are ways to fill in those gaps.there are ways to fill in those gaps.
Moss: Let’s talk about a room that has talent, and you can never stop putting more back there, and that’s safety. I think at the safety position, we have some talent, but we saw when Will Harris went down. Don’t get me wrong, Reavo [Jeremy Reaves] came in there and stepped up big, but it’s always great to have a young, talented whippersnapper.”
Paulsen: The other one is running back, and I’m having a hard time here, because there’s one who is special, and then there’s two other — maybe three others — who are starting caliber. And then it’s pretty thin. So, if you wanna get more juice at the running back spot, that’s kind of a higher priority position, not because of the players in the room, but just for a spark and some youth.
