The deal includes $77 million guaranteed. Walker was a key player on the NFL’s No. 1 rush defense in 2025-26.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One of the standout players of a Jaguars defense that allowed the fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL in 2025-26 is getting a major payday, ESPN’s senior NFL insider Adam Schefter reported Friday.
Defensive end Travon Walker signed a four-year, $100 million extension, according to Schefter, which includes $77 million guaranteed and $50 million fully guaranteed at signing.
The 2022 No. 1 overall pick has become a defensive standout for the Jags, recording 10 sacks in both 2023 and 2024. While his sack total dropped to 3.5 in 2025, this was still good for the third-highest on a defense aimed towards stopping the run. His 38 total tackles ranked second among Jags defensive linemen behind Josh Hines-Allen.
