It won’t be long before the Los Angeles Rams are back in Woodland Hills for the start of their offseason program. On Friday, the NFL announced start dates for every team, some of which will be reporting as early as next week; teams with first-year head coaches are permitted to start two weeks early.
For the Rams, players and coaches will arrive for the first day of the program on April 20. There will be strength and conditioning, meetings and other workouts to start things off, followed by more on-field work beginning at the end of May for OTAs.
OTAs will run through early June, with a two-day mandatory minicamp taking place right in the middle of the month. Prior to minicamp, all workouts will be voluntary, so players can’t be fined for any absences during OTAs.
