T.J. Randall of Pro Football & Sports Network released his latest seven-round 2026 NFL mock draft, projecting the San Francisco 49ers to address multiple roster needs—starting with a long-term plan at offensive tackle.

Trent Williams isn’t getting any younger, and the 49ers are currently working to restructure the All-Pro left tackle’s contract. While both sides are expected to reach an agreement, Williams is set to turn 38 ahead of the 2026 NFL season, making it increasingly important for San Francisco to identify his eventual successor.

The 49ers hold six total selections in the 2026 NFL Draft, and Randall has them using their first-round pick (No. 27 overall) on former Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller.

“Having gone Monroe Freeling and Kenyon Sadiq here in mocks past, it’s time we try a different name on for size (primarily because we must),” Randall wrote. “The future of left tackle Trent Williams is certainly in limbo, as is the future of George Kittle after a season-ending injury joined a list of injuries that unfortunately continues to lengthen.

“It’s tough to pass on either’s successor with what we know about the importance of the positions within the offense, but ultimately, Miller provides the San Francisco 49ers with their tackle of the future following his transition from right to left.”

San Francisco owns just one more pick within the top three rounds—No. 58 overall in the second round. Randall has the team addressing another need there, selecting former Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II.

Brazzell would join newcomers Mike Evans and Christian Kirk in a reshaped wide receiver room that has already lost Jauan Jennings, Kendrick Bourne, and Skyy Moore—with Brandon Aiyuk also expected to depart.

“A youth movement would be wise for the San Francisco 49ers to explore at this position,” Randall wrote. “Chris Brazzell II’s presence will be a welcome addition. As our PFSN analysts put it, ‘per TruMedia, he boasted a low 3.4% drop rate and an incredible 16.5% catch rate over expectation.'”

San Francisco’s remaining four selections all come in the fourth round, where Randall continues to prioritize help in the trenches:

Round 4, pick 127: C Jager Burton, Kentucky
Round 4, pick 133: Edge Max Llewellyn, Iowa
Round 4, pick 138: Edge Caden Curry, Ohio State
Round 4, pick 139: OG Jeremiah Wright, Auburn

All four selections address team needs, with the 49ers doubling up on edge rushers while continuing to reinforce the offensive line. This approach could provide immediate and long-term success at those positions.
