Matt Campbell is continuing to build Penn State’s 2027 class.
Carter Blattner has committed to the Nittany Lions, he announced on Saturday.
Blattner is a 3-star defensive lineman from New Jersey. He’s ranked by 247Sports composite as the No. 48 defensive lineman nationally and the No. 8 player from his home state.
Penn State hosted Blattner on Saturday for an unofficial visit, and he has an official visit scheduled for June 5.
Blattner picked the Nittany Lions over USC, Kentucky and Virginia Tech.
