A new 2026 NFL mock draft has the Pittsburgh Steelers making a big splash to address their offensive line concerns — but it has nothing to do with finding Isaac Seumalo’s replacement.
NFL draft expert Chad Reuter recently created a five-round 2026 mock draft, with the Steelers projected to make the following eight selections, including a standout quarterback in the third round:

First round, pick No. 21: OT Blake Miller, Clemson
Second round, pick No. 53: WR Zachariah Branch, Georgia
Third round, pick No. 76: QB Carson Beck, Miami (FL)
Third round, pick No. 85: LB Harold Perkins Jr., LSU
Third round, pick No. 99: S Bud Clark, TCU
Fourth round, pick No. 121: TE Marlin Klein, Michigan
Fourth round, pick No. 135: G DJ Campbell, Texas
Fifth round, pick No. 161: CB Devin Moore, Florida
Reuter, who predicted the Steelers to select Miller in the first round, argued that Troy Fautanu’s versatility could be a factor in the overall team fit.
“Although GM Omar Khan gave a rosier account of Broderick Jones’ potential return from injury at the NFL Annual League Meeting than he did at the NFL Scouting Combine, it is unclear when Jones will be back at his left tackle spot or if Khan will choose to exercise the player’s fifth-year option,” Reuter said. “Troy Fautanu could return to left tackle, with Miller starting on the right side if Jones is unavailable this season or down the road. Fautanu played some left guard in college, as well, so he could slide inside if Jones is ready to play in 2026.”
Jones’ availability concerns aside, one could argue that Steelers offensive lineman Dylan Cook is deserving of a shot at the starting left tackle position in 2026 after his spectacular performance last season. And if the Steelers go this route, targeting a wide receiver with pick No. 21 may prove more beneficial than picking up another offensive tackle.
