The NFL Draft is three weeks away, and mock drafts and analyst speculation are popping up all across the internet.

For the Tennessee Titans, everything points to one of four players: Jeremiyah Love, David Bailey, Rueben Bain, and Arvell Reese, sitting at the top of their draft board. And having the fourth pick and not needing a quarterback, they should no doubt be able to grab one of those players.

Draft analyst Eric Edholm of NFL.com bypassed a mock draft this week and instead outlined the ideal picks for the first two rounds in his latest projection, and has the Titans grabbing one of them.

Tennessee Titans

Round 1: No. 4 overall: Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame

Round 2: No. 35 overall: Chase Bisontis, OG, Texas A&M

I’d be OK with the Titans taking Love at fourth overall, because they’ve been hyper-busy in free agency addressing needs on both sides of the ball, and because the next-best back shouldn’t be taken for possibly anotr round or more. If they want to upgrade early, Love is the guy. Surrounding Cam Ward with as much help as possible should be the aim, and Love would absolutely elevate this offense. That thinking also applies to the offensive line, where the fast-rising Bisontis could become a rookie starter inside. There are voids at receiver and on Robert Saleh’s defense, but the Titans have seven more picks after this.

There is no doubt that Love is a possibility with the Titans’ fourth overall selection. The explosive running back out of Notre Dame was mentioned multiple times by head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Mike Borgonzi at the league meeting, and would definitely give Cam Ward a game-changer in the backfield.

The pick of Bisontis also tracks with their comments, with the team open to starting multiple rookies along the interior of their offensive line. He is one of the top guards in this class, and could be in the cards in the second round.Â
