From London to Melbourne, the NFL’s global takeover continues. The Bills haven’t played overseas since 2023, but another international trip will eventually come.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The NFL, year and year, keeps adding more international games to the schedule. As such, the use of a passport for all 32 teams and their fans is inevitable.

The Buffalo Bills last played overseas in 2023, when they lost a Week 5 “home” game to the Jacksonville Jaguars, who play at least one game — and sometimes two — in London on an annual basis. Given that, it only seems like a matter of time before the Bills play overseas again.

Could that time arrive this fall or winter? To gauge the Bills’ chances, you have to know who’s already been picked to host those games.

Here’s what we know about each of the NFL’s announced international games so far:

Melbourne, Australia — Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers, Week 1 at Melbourne Cricket GroundRio de Janeiro, Brazil — Dallas Cowboys vs. TBA, at Maracanã StadiumParis, France — New Orleans Saints vs. TBA, at Stade de FranceMexico City, Mexico — San Francisco 49ers vs. TBA, at Estadio BanorteLondon, England — Jacksonville Jaguars vs. TBA, at Wembley StadiumLondon, England — Jacksonville Jaguars vs. TBA, at Tottenham Hotspur StadiumLondon, England — Washington Commanders vs. TBA, at Tottenham Hotspur StadiumMunich, Germany — Detroit Lions vs. TBA, at FC Bayern Munich StadiumMadrid, Spain — Atlanta Falcons vs. TBA, at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

The only team Buffalo is scheduled to play on the road next season is the Rams, who already know they’re playing San Francisco in their Week 1 game Down Under in Melbourne.

In other words, the Bills likely won’t need a passport to play a game next season.
