Duke defensive tackle Josiah Green appears to be on the Indianapolis Colts’ radar during the pre-draft process.
According to Aaron Wilson, the Colts are one of several teams that have met with Green. This was not reported as an official 30 visit.
As Wilson notes, Green was able to stand out during Duke’s pro day. This includes putting up 36 reps on the bench press, which would have ranked second among defensive tackles at the NFL combine, along with posting a 4.43-second, which would have ranked first among his position group at the combine. Green’s 9’6″ broad jump would have ranked second as well.
Green is listed at 6-1, 285 pounds.
Colts show interest in Duke DT Josiah Green
The 2025 season was Green’s first at Duke after spending the previous few years at Dartmouth. Green would record 23 quarterback pressures and four sacks, according to Pro Football Focus. Green would also grade out well against the run.

The bulk of Green’s snaps during his career have come as a pass rusher.
With the additions that the Colts made at this position this offseason, adding to defensive tackle in the draft isn’t a pressing need.
However, the draft is also about planning ahead, and if we look to the 2027 offseason, none of the players currently on the roster are under contract. The prudent move for Ballard would be to begin preparing for that by making an addition — or two — now.
But that may not be a luxury the Colts have, given the much larger needs that the Colts have elsewhere.
