The Arizona Cardinals don’t have a big need at wide receiver, but they might add one in the 2026 NFL draft. They had one receiver prospect in on Monday for a visit.

Texas Tech receiver Reggie Virgil was in Tempe for an official top-30 visit. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported it, but Virgil also shared an Instagram story with a picture of the field at the Cardinals’ headquarters.

Virgil is a likely Day 3 prospect.

He played three seasons collegiately at Miami of Ohio in the MAC. After 41 catches for 816 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging a conference-high 19.9 yards per reception, he transferred to Texas Tech. For the Big 12 champion Red Raiders, he led the team with 57 catches for 705 yards and six touchdowns. He also rushed for two scores.

He is 6-3 and 187 pounds with a 36-inch vertical leap and 127-inch broad jump.

He has the length the Cardinals seem to like from their receivers. With the top three receivers set on the roster with Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson and Kendrick Bourne, Virgil could have a role as a rookie if drafted by the Cardinals.
