The New York Jets have signaled interest in USC wide receiver Makai Lemon prior to the 2026 NFL draft.

The Jets hold two selections in Round 1 of the upcoming event at Nos. 2 and 16 overall. More likely a target for the second of the two, Lemon is being looked at more intently as he is reportedly having a top-30 visit in New York:

For the Jets, wide receiver is a need so the team’s offense has a complement to Garrett Wilson at the position.

A 5-foot-11 playmaker, Lemon had 79 catches, 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games played in 2025. NFL.com’s draft profile on Lemon compares his skill set to that of Detroit Lions’ All-Pro wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown.
