BOSTON, Mass — “I’d like to see A.J. Brown in a Patriots uniform.”

That’s what Julian Edelman told Patriots Wire on Saturday night during an exclusive conversation at the Sam Adams Our City Our Beer launch party, making it clear that he thinks the Philadelphia Eagles star receiver will be in Foxborough by the start of training camp.

“I don’t know if you saw him on my podcast (Dudes On Dudes). I asked him that specific question,” Edelman explained. “And this guy was winking at me, giving me telekinesis vibes.”

The episode in reference aired one month ago, with Brown joining Edelman, as well as his co-host and former teammate Rob Gronkowski, on their podcast, where they talked about a multitude of different topics.

And of course, Brown’s former coach, Mike Vrabel, came up, especially considering all the rumors circulating that the wide receiver could reunite with his coach in New England this upcoming season. But it was the moment that Edelman boldly claimed, “We’re all Patriots,” that had everyone talking. And that’s because Brown winked at Edelman. He did quickly clear things up, saying he was just “trolling.”

However, there is still a belief across many in the NFL that Brown will be a Patriot following June 1, when the Eagles can spread his “dead money” over two seasons, meaning they wouldn’t have to absorb all $43.5 million in 2026.

For now, Brown remains in Philadelphia, but hopefully Edelman is on to something, and fans will get to see Brown in a Patriots jersey very soon.
