Matt Nagy wants no confusion about the New York Giants‘ new offense.
“It’s not going to be a pick up and place down Kansas City or a pick up and place down Baltimore,” he told reporters on Tuesday. “We’re taking all of these different backgrounds that we have, and we’re going to make it ours. It’s going to be the New York Giants and how we do things.”
Working under head coach John Harbaugh and alongside a staff full of former head coaches and coordinators, Nagy is building a fresh scheme through collaboration rather than importing a ready-made system.
“Put the egos aside,” he stressed. “Let’s make this ours. Let’s not worry about whose idea it is. Let’s make it our idea.”
Physicality will anchor the attack, consistent with Harbaugh’s teams.

“Any team that Coach Harbaugh has always had on both sides, all three phases, the word ‘physical’ is the first thing you think of,” Nagy said. “So it’s going to start there. That’s not a hidden fact.”
Beyond that base, the offense will adapt to the roster’s strengths — especially second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart — with a detailed, “less-is-more” approach.
“What it becomes through these players’ strengths, we’ll have a direction,” Nagy explained. “That’s the exciting part.
“We’re going to have some fun, but we’re going to be really good at what we do.”
The unique blend is expected to take clearer shape during organized team activities (OTAs) and training camp.
