Cignetti will speak alongside IU men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries and Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson.

CARMEL, Ind. — Attention, Indiana University football fans: Get ready for the chance to see National Championship head coach Curt Cignetti — and even get a photo with the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy!

Indiana University Athletics is staging a “first-of-its-kind” fan engagement event called, “Victory and Vision: A Night with IU Athletics.” 

The event will feature discussion between Cignetti, head men’s basketball coach Darian DeVries and Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson.

The event will be held at the The Payne & Mencias Palladium at the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, May 14. It starts at 7:30 p.m.

Officials said fans will hear about the “strategic vision for the department and the offseason efforts of the basketball program, along with a post-spring assessment of the reigning CFP Championship football program.”

“Victory and Vision: A Night with IU Athletics” will be emceed by “Voice of the Hoosiers” Don Fischer. 

The event will also feature the IU Cheerleaders, mascot Hoosier the Bison, video highlights of the 2025-2026 season, exclusive giveaways and other interactive elements. 

Fans will have the opportunity to take a photo with the National Championship Trophy at the end of the event, starting at 8:30 p.m.

IU won their first national championship against the Miami Hurricanes on Jan. 19, 2026. The final score was 27-21
