Erin Andrews isn’t giving up on growing her family.
The veteran NFL sideline reporter and her husband, former NHL star Jarret Stoll, are a family of three (or four, if you include their adorable golden retriever, as you should). Andrews and Stoll, who married in 2017, welcomed their son, Mack, via surrogate in June of 2023. Andrews, who previously battled cervical cancer, has been open about her struggles with fertility, going through several rounds of IVF. She and her husband have attempted to have other kids, including through surrogacy, though they have experienced some serious heartbreak.
Andrews, who is 47 years old, is not giving up on expanding her family. While Andrews knows that the numbers are against her, the NFL on FOX sideline reporter truly believes that her body can do it. She revealed on a recent episode of “Calm Down With Erin & Charissa” that she’s hoping for success and isn’t giving up on IVF.

“I know what history says. It’s not great with producing eggs and the viability of your eggs” Andrews admitted.
“There’s just some (expletive) in me that I’m like, watch, watch me do it. It’s like a weird addiction I have.”
Her co-host and friend, Charissa Thompson, couldn’t be more supportive. Thompson admitted that Andrews is the kind of person that is going to try to do something until it’s made clear that it’s physically impossible for it to happen. And Andrews is definitely not at that point – yet, anyway.
“It’s a blessing and a curse in your life, how competitive you are,” Thompson said on the April 14 episode, which is available on YouTube.
“You will not stop until someone makes you stop.”
The NFL world is extremely supportive of Andrews’ goal
Andrews, a fan favorite in the NFL world for years, has a ton of support as she continues to be so open about her mindset, her goals, her struggles and more.
“Superwoman,” George Kittle’s wife, Claire, wrote to Andrews.
“Such an amazing and beautiful example of friends supporting each other ! Needed this today,” one fan added.
“Erin, I love your honesty and vulnerability. Please don’t give up 🙏🏻 I went through a journey and many heartbreaks 🙁 I almost gave up after our last loss. But now I have an 8 yr old and 1 yr old. I’m about to turn 43. It’s never too late to have everything you want 🙏🏻❤️We’re all rooting for you!” another fan shared.
“I love that you are open and talking about this. So many people feel shame around fertility issues. It’s beautiful to watch you fight. Thank you for sharing your story and know that I am sending so much love and positive vibes to you and your family! ❤️,” one fan added.
Andrews is able to joke about it, too.
“I’m really in the fourth quarter,” she joked of her age when it comes to getting pregnant.
“I may be in OT.”
