The Pittsburgh Steelers have made a lot of great moves this season, acquiring several established veterans to improve their roster.

However, their best move so far has probably been trading for and extending wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. The Steelers desperately needed a No. 2 receiver to pair with D.K. Metcalf, and they got a really good one in Pittman.
During his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” earlier this week, legendary sports broadcaster Jim Nantz praised Pittman and Pittsburgh for landing him.
“You had Metcalf getting all the coverage. There was no No. 2, no really scary No. 2 for any defense for the Steelers,” Nantz told McAfee. “I mean Pittman, he’s had a 100-catch season… I love him as a player. I don’t know him. I hear great things about him as a person. I just think he’s a tremendous player.”

Pittman, 28, also has two 1,000-yard seasons under his belt and rarely misses a game, proving to be a consistent, durable and reliable pass-catcher during his six-year career.
He also thrived with a number of quarterbacks in Indianapolis, so he should be fine regardless of who’s under center for the Steelers next season.
