MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – UW Health announced Thursday it is now the official health care partner of the Green Bay Packers.
The multi-year agreement makes it so UW Health and the Packers participate in community initiatives and fan-focused events together throughout the year. These efforts include the Packers Football Outreach programs and the Packers’ Project Play 60 event.
UW Health will also be visible with permanent signage on the north entry gate of Lambeau Field and have logo patches on the Packers’ practice jerseys.
UW Health CEO Dr. Alan Kaplan said the organization was thrilled to be partnering with such a strong team.
“They are one of the most successful sports teams in American history and are deeply dedicated to their millions of fans across Wisconsin and beyond,” Dr. Kaplan said. “UW Health shares that strong commitment to be the best for our patients and the communities we serve.”
UW Health and the Packers will work together on the Packers vs Cancer program, which raises awareness about early cancer screenings and raises money to support cancer research.
UW Health will also be the presenting sponsor of Packers Training Camp and Packers Family Night.
