CINCINNATI (WKRC) — In what’s being called a “draft week blockbuster,” the New York Giants are trading Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. In exchange, the Giants will receive the overall No. 10 draft pick.

On X Saturday, the NFL insider says both teams agreed to trade the three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle.

“Cincinnati believed that Dexter Lawrence would be more impactful this season, in a big year, than the 10th overall pick in this draft. Bengals didn’t wait to get aggressive,” Schefter wrote.

Lawrence will now reportedly travel to Cincinnati Sunday for a physical to make the trade official. If the trade is made official, Lawrence will join Boye Mafe, Bryan Cook and Jonathan Allen among the Bengals’ defensive additions.
