The Seattle Seahawks announced on Monday the jersey numbers for several of their external free agent signings, along with number changes for a few of their returning players.
A full Seahawks mock draft – with a trade and 6 picks
Among their free agency additions, cornerback Noah Igbinoghene will wear No. 17, safety Rodney Thomas II will don No. 24 and running back Emanuel Wilson will be No. 27. Seattle’s only other external free agent signing this offseason has been safety D’Anthony Bell, but he spent most of the 2025 season with the Seahawks before getting picked up by the Carolina Panthers in a mid-December waiver claim, so it appears he’ll keep the No. 23 he wore last year in Seattle.
Meanwhile, linebacker Drake Thomas is switching from No. 42 to No. 32 after his breakout season this past fall. As a result, running back Velus Jones Jr. is switching from No. 32 to No. 33. Also, linebacker Jalan Gaines will wear No. 47 after donning No. 56 last preseason.
