After a busy draft weekend last year, Colorado football fans are back to a familiar scene where three days are very likely to come and go without a Buff being selected. The 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, probably won’t feature any true Colorado alums hearing their name called, but there are a few former Buffs who will be chosen.
Any action regarding players who put on a CU jersey last season will probably happen on Saturday, following the conclusion of the draft when undrafted free agents begin signing deals with NFL teams.
Cornerback Preston Hodge, wide receiver Sincere Brown, guard Zylon Crisler, guard Xavier Hill, defensive ends Arden Walker and Keaten Wade and defensive lineman Amari McNeill. Quarterback Kaidon Salter could also get a chance.
Multiple full seven-round mock drafts have no Colorado players selected, and that could be the case once again, as it was from 2022 to 2024.
Even if a drafted player is a surprise, we wanted to keep track of where former Buffs are headed this weekend and where they will play at the next level. Here’s what you need to know about each of the players picked in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Given the high likelihood that there will be no Colorado draftees, we will include former Buffs who transferred out of the program and, therefore, are not considered CU players when entering the NFL.
