Being an NFL rookie can be overwhelming, as new 49ers cornerback Ephesians Prysock soon might learn.

But Prysock, whom San Francisco selected No. 139 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, has an advantage — he already knows two of his teammates in the Bay. He played with the 49ers’ No. 127 pick, offensive lineman Carver Willis, at the University of Washington, and Prysock also goes way back with fellow defensive back Deommodore Lenoir.

“Yeah, actually my two older brothers played in high school with him, so I know him a little bit,” Prysock told reporters after he was drafted, when it was noticed both he and Lenoir are from Los Angeles. “I’m pretty familiar with him.”

Prysock, 23, is three years younger than Lenoir and went to Bishop Alemany High School in the Mission Hills community, where he was a four-star recruit. Lenoir and Prysock’s brothers, meanwhile, went to Salesian High School in Boyle Heights.

Lenoir certainly remembers Prysock, as “The Hyena” proudly took to Instagram after the 49ers made their pick to celebrate.

Prysock can learn plenty from Lenoir, who is the 49ers’ top cornerback and started all 17 games during the 2026 NFL season.
