UTPB wide receiver Ben Patterson signs with the Jacksonville Jaguars

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (KMID/KPEJ) – The former UTPB Falcon wide receiver Ben Patterson has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a undrafted free agent.

Patterson spent his college years in a Falcons uniform, where he had 98 catches for 1774 yards and 16 touchdowns. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound wideout was named to the all-Lone Star Conference second team in 2023 and 2025. Patterson becomes the first Falcon in program history to sign with an NFL team and will now join the Jaguars at NFL Rookie Camp in the coming weeks.
