The Seattle Seahawks started off the 2025 NFL Draft by bulking up on the interior of the offensive line with the addition of Grey Zabel out of North Dakota State, a college teammate of Jalen Sundell.
Then, on Friday, the Seahawks traded up with the Tennessee Titans into the 35th overall spot in order to add a highly athletic safety for head coach Mike Macdonald to deploy in his defense.
Emmanwori gives Seattle a pair of second round safeties, with veteran Julian Love have roamed the Seahawks secondary for the past two seasons since leaving the New York Giants as a free agent following the 2023 season.
John Schneider and the Seahawks still have a pair of selections left to make on Friday night, including the 18th pick in the second round (50 overall) and the 28th pick in the third round (92 overall). The team entered Friday with four picks, but traded a pair of those selections to the Titans for the right to select Emmanwori.
