The New York Giants have signed veteran defensive lineman Shelby Harris.

Shelby, 6-2 and 288 pounds, has played in 146 regular-season games with 89 starts for the Raiders (2014-15), Broncos (2017-21), Seahawks (2022), and Browns (2023-25).

His career numbers include 358 total tackles, 65 quarterback hits, 58 tackles for loss, 40 passes defensed, 28.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, and one interception. Shelby has also started two postseason games.

Shelby’s 40 passes defensed are second only to Pittsburgh’s Cameron Heyward (56) for the most among defensive tackles since 2014. His 33.5 run stuffs (any tackle of a ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage during a rushing attempt) are 14th at his position in that span.
