The Baltimore Ravens aren’t sneaking up on anyone this season. As the offseason transitions from the draft to rookie minicamp, expectations are already crystal clear. According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Baltimore is tied with the Los Angeles Rams for the highest projected win total in the NFL at 11.5 games.
This isn’t a team viewed as a fringe contender or a group still figuring things out. This is a roster expected to compete at the highest level from Week 1. With Lamar Jackson leading the offense and a retooled defense built around new additions like Trey Hendrickson, there is a belief that Baltimore has both the star power and depth to sustain a deep run.
It also reflects consistency. The Ravens have remained one of the AFC’s most stable contenders, and oddsmakers are betting that trend continues. Of course, projections don’t win games. They do, however, frame expectations.
And heading into rookie minicamp, the message surrounding the Baltimore Ravens is simple. Anything less than double-digit wins and a legitimate deep postseason push is unacceptable. That would feel like falling short of the standard they’ve set.
