PITTSBURGH — University of Pittsburgh linebacker Kyle Louis is the first Panther off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft after being selected No. 138 overall in the fourth round by the Miami Dolphins.

Louis compiled 81 tackles, 8½ tackles for loss, three sacks, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two interceptions in 2025, where he started 11 games as a junior.

The year prior, Louis was an All-American by The Sporting News. He was the first Pitt sophomore defensive player to earn that accolade since Hugh Green in 1978. He was also an Associated Press All-American, earning second-team honors. Louis made all 13 starts, racking up 101 total tackles, including 15½ tackles for loss, seven sacks, and four interceptions.

Louis is from East Orange, New Jersey. He is 6-foot tall and weighs 220 pounds. Louis turned in a 4.53 40-yard dash.
