Shortly after the 2026 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons signed undrafted Georgia Bulldogs running back Cash Jones. The move means that no other NFL team has more Georgia players on their roster than the Falcons.
Atlanta has six Georgia players on its roster after the draft, which is the most in the NFL. Atlanta is tied with the Philadelphia Eagles, who also have six Georgia players, for having the most Bulldogs of any team in the NFL.

The Falcons have acquired four Georgia Bulldogs this offseason. Atlanta signed linebackers Azeez Ojulari and Channing Tindall. Later, the Falcons drafted wide receiver Zachariah Branch in the third-round of the 2026 NFL draft. Following the draft, running back Cash Jones signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent to bring Atlanta’s total number of Georgia players up to six. Atlanta already had second-year linebacker Jalon Walker and veteran tight end Charlie Woerner on their roster.
The Falcons have not invested as much draft capital in Georgia players as the Eagles, but adding more Georgia players is a welcome trend for many Falcons fans. Not every Georgia player is close to guaranteed to make Atlanta’s 53-man roster before the start of the 2026 NFL season.
